Double celebration for S.T. Dupont at 58 avenue Montaigne

ST Dupont received the prestigious “Living Heritage Enterprise” state seal of approval from the hands of Mr Alexis Govciyan, Director of the Institut Supérieur des Métiers, an award given to honour French manufacturers holding rare, renowned or ancestral skills.
This seal of approval was given in recognition of the craftsmen of the S.T. Dupont workshops in Faverges, Haute-Savoie.

The other high point of the evening was the unveiling of a piece, the “Azur Legend Crocodile” that epitomises the Maison’s expertise: a fine armoury rifle made with Atelier Verney-Carron and Maison Leica, sumptuously decorated by ST Dupont with a “crocodile” motif, composed of 500 scales in black Chinese lacquer – each one requiring no less than 26 different operations!

ST Dupont could dream of no better way to celebrate its 140th anniversary than with the “EPV” label award and the making of this masterly piece: two perfect illustrations of the Maison’s credo: “Be Exceptional”.
